Anyone For Anya

Hi there peeps this is my entry for Anyone for Anya Challenge. Great news you can now use CC designs too. Great news for me has I can't afford all the lovely stamps I see but I can download some images :) So I decided to enter this week. I have added an embellishment to the sketch I hope that okay as it looked pretty bare before :) The papers are MME & Nitwits. Lace is from stash along with the glittered foam brads. Papertake Weekly Open Theme

Hi there here is my entry into Papertake Weekly, which is open theme. What a wonderful Challenge! As I mentioned in my recent blog I am trying distressing. This wonderful image I got from a friend when she went away last year & finally got round to using it, I wish I had inked it up before :) I have coloured using distress inks and distressed edges with my craft knife. I sewn it on my machine and added some shell embellies. Oh I can also enter this into Simon says Stamp -the theme is Distress using Tim Holtz products :) The flowers are just circles of papers I have distress. I nearly forgot the papers are MME.

Just Magnolia Sketch/Distress

Hi there my theme today was to try some distressing on my cards. So here is my first attempt. I have followed the sketch over on just magnolia this week. I have coloured the image using whispers markers. I then distressed MME papers by scrapping the craft knife down the egdes. I also added some tears in and crumbled them up. I now have constant access to the sewing machine so I sewn the papers together, this will becoming a thing of mine as I really enjoy doing it. I added the final touches with MME buttons. Hope you like it, I think this look could grow on me lol :)

Three Challenges 1 Card

Hi Peeps here is the card I am entering into 3 Challenges this week. I really adore this image by Mo it's a free download for members only. So sorry you can't get this from Mos store. I have coloured the image with Distress inks. The papers are from nitwits & Basic grey. Ribbon from my stash and so is the clip at the top. Think I got them from claires accessories. The sentiment is from the computer. Here is a list of the challenges :

Mo's Challege - The Sketch

Hi Peeps, here is a card I made for Mos Digital Challenge this week hopefully its not to late. The papers are from nitwits. I love this image from mo, she looks as if she is really thinking about the book she is reading. I have coloured her using my Distress inks. The sentiment is from the pc. My doodles are present again I think this is becoming part of my overall style. I have finished with paper brads.

The craft room is now complete and I am so happy with it. My own personal space where I can craft till my hearts content. I will post some piccies soon. What an achievement, thanks to my Dad and Hubby, 2 weeks and it is complete so proud of them both. I managed to do it with so little budget as well. :) Back laters with another card I have completed today bye for now :)

Magnolia & Others

Hi Peeps I have finally got back to doing some challenges. The new craft room has come to a halt until the weekend when I can get the wood :) So today I have a piccie to show you of a card I am entering into Just Magnolia Challenge.

The card is Bazzil and papers are from Nitwits, I love these papers. I have coloured image using Whispers Markers and Distress inks. My doodles are there again with some hand sewn stitches. I have also hand stitched the sequins on they are from my local sew shop. I wanted to keep the card simple and show of the papers. Bye for now Thanks for looking :)

What a weekend

Hi Peeps its been a busy weekend. Haven't had time to do cards but will try to get some done this week. I am in the middle of converting an outside shed into a craft room. So up to my eyes in it. Lili of the Valley Sketch

Hi Peeps just the one card today, I am tackling a male card for the challenge this week. I loved doing the sketch. The papers I have used today are from Trimcraft called Funky Vintage. I have used cardstock from Bazzil. Paperclips, button & Paper brads are my embellies. The image is from Mo's and is called Video Boy. I have coloured him using whispers markers. Spoonful Of Sugar

This is my entry into A Spoonful Of Sugar Challenge, which is Easter. I used an image I downloaded from Pink Petticoat along with some papers from them. The yellow came from Papermania. I coloured image with Whispers markers, added some doodles and finished with some embellies. I like adding paperclips atmo, and flower ribbon from stash. Plus the faithful paper brads. Thats all from me today off to surf the blogs bye peeps :)

WOJ Easel Card

This is another card completed today. This is my entry for Whiff of Joy Challenge. This week is an easel card. I wanted to keep this simple. As sometimes I never know when to stop. I just focussed on the paper from my minds eye and the adorable image. I am also entering this into Simon says Stamp which is show us Greens. I added my doodles and just some paper brads. Papertake Weekly Lilac & Lemon

Hi Peeps here is my entry into Papertake Weekly Challenge, which this week is Lilac & Lemon.

The papers used are a download from Pink Petticoat. The images have been coloured in with distress inks and twinkling h2o's. I enjoy using them both together. The flowers and paper brads are from the Glitter Pot. Ribbon is from stash. I have been busy today and managed to complete 5 cards, which is good going for me. Hi Peeps here is a card I have done today. I am entering this into a no of challenges. The image is from CC Designs and as been coloured with distress inks and Twinkling H2O's. Isn't she just adorable. The papers and buttons are from My Minds Eye. The lace I got from my local craft shop. I have finished with the odd bit of doodling. Just Magnolia

Hi Peeps here is my latest addition to the Mags. I am entering it this week into Bevs sketch on Just Magnolia Challenge. The papers are a free download from Shabby Princess. Embellies are from my stash. Tilda is coloured using twinkling H2Os. I have distressed edges using distress inks. The swirl stamp is from creative expressions. Thats my post for today, taking advantage of Mothers Day and spending it colouring in some images.

Simon Says Stamp

Here is my entry into simon says stamp challenge. I had to change the image shape slightly to fit my image I wanted to use, fingers crossed it okay. Back to orange again but this time I have used yellow. The papers are My minds eye and papermania. The image is from Mo's digital store . Ribbons,flowers and buttons are from My minds eye and my stash.

Also checkout Bevs site she has some really lovely cards to show and is offering a bit of candy for saturday alongside simon says stamp.

Mo's Design Team Entry

I have decided to take a plunge into a comp to become a DT member at Mo's Blog. So here goes this is my entry. I have rotated the sketch a little and have used papers from My minds eye. The buttons and threads are also from my minds eye. This image is so cute and really goes with the papers. Pink and Orange are the colours for me at the moment lol.

Mo's Digital Challenge

Here's my latest card I have completed this weekend. These images of Mo's are just so different I can't stop giggling at this one. Over at Mo's challenge blog this week is to design a shaped card that isn't square or rectangle. I decided on a handbag I think any little madam would love this bag lol. I have used papers by My Mind's Eye and embellies are from stock. Coloured in the little image with pencil crayons. Keep trying my distress inks but it is running. Whiff of Joy Challenge

Hi there Peeps, hope you having a wonderful day. Here is a piccie of my latest card which I am entering into the Whiff of Joy Challenge this week. I am using up the papers I used yesterday which are doublesided from My minds eye. I have coloured in the image with pencil crayons. I have added text from my computer. My doodles I have done using the trusty sakura pens. Another crafting essencial I believe. Off to check out some other blogs which are on my side bar. A Card for Mum

Hi Peeps, thought I'd show a card i did today for Mothers Day. This is a simple layout, as i wanted to show off the image. The image comes from Mo's Digital Pencil and i just love these images atm.

The papers are from My Minds Eye and are doublesided. I love the Pink and Green colour combo it looks so fresh. I have added text from my computer and embellies are from my stash.

Challenge Time

I really enjoyed colouring in this adorable image available from Mo's Digital Pencil. She is an amazing artist. I went back to basics and coloured her using pencil crayons. I glazed the wings with sakura pens and also added white to highlight. The blue paper is A Minds Eye, the brown one basic grey. My text is a rub on from Papermania, the ribbon i have recycled from a chocolate box and the flowers are from Crafttime. I am entering this card into a few challenges.

1/ Mo's digital challenge - Which is Blue, Brown and one Neutral.

2/ Papertake Weekly - A sketch by the amazing Dawny P.

3/ A Spoonful of Sugar - Recycle.

Just Magnolia Challenge

This is my entry for Just Magnolia Challenge this week, which is a tent card. Tutorial can be found on the Just magnolia challenge page. This card is created for a colleague who wanted one similar to the previous one i did before. Hense why papers and tilda are the same. Papers from DCWV La Creme paper pack. I used doodlebug rub ons for the name, these are called marmalade medium. The image is coloured with distress inks.

A short post today

Hi peeps, just popping in to leave a short post today.

Been a busy day, been to work and have a busy weekend crafting. I have a few orders to do for work colleagues. 4 easter baskets like the pics above, 2 for girls and 2 for boys. I also have an order for a 60th birthday. Think i will have a go at the magnolia challenge of a tent card. Bye for now peeps :)

Lili of the Valley Challenge

Hi Peeps,

The challenge over at Lili of the Valley is an easel card. I have just completed this for a friend of mine. Her friends are expecting a baby and she wanted to congratulate them. Of course this took some thinking but i thought these magnolia images were appropriate. I have used my fave papers of the moment DCWV La Creme, i think these are classy papers i hope you agree. The images were coloured with Distress inks another fave at the moment. I also handstitched some stitches onto the design.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

Hi there peeps. Here's my entry for the new papertake weekly challenge. Which is Bows, Buttons, Brads & Bling.

I have coloured graduation tilda with distress inks, which i am getting used to using, has i usually use twinkling H2Os. I made a 6x6 easel card from 12x12 card in white. The papers i used are DCWV La Creme stack. I love these papers they are so strokable with the flocking on them. The elements i used to finish card with are from a papermania kit called Capsule Collection Sunshine. This card was made for a work collegue for her daughter.

I have also tried my new camera today, this has made my photos better i think than the last ones posted. Off to look at some more blogs before more cardmaking. See you soon bye for now peeps xx

Finally a Challenge

This is my entry into this weeks Justmagnolia Challenge which is BIRTHDAYS. The pictures aren't to good sorry for that i need practice as this is all a first to me.

I have used Distress inks to colour in Tilda. The papers all come from Shabby Princess this one is called Express yourself by Ronna Penner. I have added stickles and perfect pearls to add finishing touches.

I am pretty bushed after 3 days of decorating and am glad its over now i get time to craft. I will be back shortly with some more challenge entries. Hopefully my piccies will improve lol..
